Which Essential Oil is Essential for You?

Here at Frabella, we love to incorporate essential oils into our soaps. Why? Well, yes they smell delicious! But they also come with a multitude of physical and mental benefits such as mood enhancement and stress relief. Each oil offers a unique set of natural perks but, which one is best of your needs?

But first things first - let's have a look at essential oils and how they work. Essential oils are natural aromatic products that are extracted from specific plant species including types of flowers and grasses. Not all areas of such plants provide essential oils - they can only be found on roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits. The aromatic chemicals and carrier oil are obtained through a distillation process, at which point they are ready for use. Essential oils are commonly used in aromatherapy by inhalation, dilution or topical application. The chemicals in the oil interact with your body in numerous ways including stimulating your emotions, behaviour and memory.

But as said before, each essential oil has a different scent and associated health benefits. And, there are more than 90 different types of oils! So, lets run through some of the essential oils we include in our soaps to figure out which product is best for you.
