Rooibos Tea & Extract Benefits

Rooibos Tea & Extract Benefits

After some lengthy Rooibos Tea sessions and doing research into its benefits for the skin, inside and out.

We have made a new 'Rooibos Tea' Goats Milk Bar

So what is the Rooibos plant? Its a native shrub grown in South Africa The needle-shaped leaves from this shrub are used for the production of an herbal tea, naturally decaffeinated, rooibos tea is low in tannins and high in antioxidants. With commerically grown farms in the last 100 years.  Not only does it taste amazing to drink as a tea, but has many special properties to help your skin.

  1. Antioxidant Properties: Rooibos tea is known for its high levels of antioxidants, including quercetin and aspalathin. These antioxidants can help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body, reducing oxidative stress and potentially lowering the risk of various chronic diseases.

  2. Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Rooibos contains anti-inflammatory compounds that can help reduce inflammation in the body. This property may be beneficial for conditions related to inflammation, such as skin conditions, arthritis, or digestive issues.

  3. Skin Health: Rooibos tea is often used topically for skin conditions like acne and eczema due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It can help soothe irritated skin and promote a healthy complexion.

To ensure a natural product has all the benefits as nature intended we use a mixture of Red Bush tea leaves and Rooibos Cellular Extract in our bars.  This allows for the highest concentrate and beneficial properties.  In combination with Pure fresh Goats Milk also complements the benefits of a all natural simple product.

It also smells wonderful. Fruity, sweet but not too much.

I drink 1-2 cups a day so from the inside and outside will benefit.
